Au chef des chantres. Sur <>. Psaume de David. Mon Dieu! mon Dieu! pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné, Et t'éloignes-tu sans me secourir, sans écouter mes plaintes? Mon Dieu! je crie le jour, et tu ne réponds pas; La nuit, et je n'ai point de repos. Pourtant tu es le Saint, Tu sièges au milieu des louanges d'Israël.



KJV :

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (why art thou so) far from helping me, (and from) the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. But thou (art) holy, (O thou) that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
