Jérémie 17:9-10

Le coeur est tortueux par-dessus tout, et il est méchant: Qui peut le connaître? Moi, l'Éternel, j'éprouve le coeur, je sonde les reins, Pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies, Selon le fruit de ses oeuvres.

The heart (is) deceitful above all (things), and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, (I) try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, (and) according to the fruit of his doings.
